History of mobile phones and the first mobile phone

Mobile phones make world a global village. Perhaps, world without devices look like a alien space.

When were mobile phones invented?

You know the history of mobile phones started from 1908. In start , it was wireless telephone. In 1940s,  mobile phones were invented when engineers working on base stations of mobile phone. In start, mobile phone was not really device. That was just two side radio , people use them only for car services and emergency cases to communicate. At that time , communication was possible by base stations  that cover wide area when signals passed from one cell to another. On 3 April 1973, Morola was the first company that produce first handled mobile. In start , they are 0G mobile phones but now they are 3G and 4G mobile phones.

The handsets that made history:

From 80s, there are many phones that change technology from brick phones to iconic Nokia handset. It passed many boundaries to reach today smart phones.

Motorola Dynatac 8000X(at the era of 1985):

As we see in the movies of 1987, they create the technology of mobile phones by using bricks between street walls. The first handled smart phone that start it’s history to start this global era is Motorola Dynatac 8000X. It’s price was approximately eye-watering £3,000.

Nokia 1011 (1992):

Nokia 1011 was the first massed produced mobile phone with the technology of GSM standard technology , available in all color but mostly black. It has LCD screen and capacity to store 99 numbers in memory.

Motorola StarTAC (1996):

The first smart phone released openly in market was StarTAC that was expensive, desirable, smallest , lightest and luxury item of that era.

The Hagenuk GlobalHandy (1997):

Hagenuk Global Handy was first German minimal handmade mobile phone that has no visible antenna.

Siemens S10 (1998):

Siemens S10 was first color screen mobile phone with 92 * 54 pixel display but unfortunately to set in world technology.

Nokia 5110 (1998):

In 1999, Sponsorship occurs in London where this device was successful.

Nokia 7110 ( 1999 ):

In 1999, this device was capable of browsing the internet. This smart phone move toward the multi-functionality in this world.

Motorola Timeport ( 1999 ):

The first tri-band GSM smart phone was Motorola Time port that worked every where and every time in the whole world. It was the fashion of that modern era.

Nokia 9210 Communicator (2000):

The first attempt to made the device capable of handle internet was this communicator. It’s weight about 400g. It has many specifications like 8MB storage, full keyboard, capable of web browser , email support etc.

Sharp J-SH04 (2000):

This was sold in Japan due to have 0.11MP camera resolution . It was officially camera phone .

 Nokia 3310 (2000):

This device introduce snake game, customize ringtones and silent or vibrate mode. It was very light with 133g weight and have battery for long time.

Nokia 1100 (2003):

The Nokia 1100 was launched as best selling mobile in the world.

 Blackberry 6210 (2003):

The first true Blackberry phone was capable of email and has much loved blackberry messenger.

Motorola Razr V3 (2004):

This was very thin in size of about 14mm. It  was made up of aluminum looked like slick.

 The iPhone (2007):

On January 9, 2007, after many years of rumors, the first officially announced smart phone ceremony exist in United States on 6 June 2007. This was designed with physical hardware buttons and touch screen to handle these devices.

The development of mobile phone technology

Martin Cooper was the first smart phone made for practical use invented by Morola employee consider to be best player in the world of Smart phones. Handset that can be used in traveling was Martin Cooper’s phone that was first portable smart phone . In  April 1973, this smart phone made history.

2017 and beyond:
